Nancy J. Kucyk was born on June 1, 1935 to Joseph and Helen Jaglowicz in Detroit, Michigan. She passed away on July 22, 2024 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of Donald Kucyk of 66 years. Loving mother of Christopher (JoAnn) Kucyk and Kimberly (John) Masyra. Proud grandmother of Kathryn (Clark), Lauren (Matthew), Christine (Shawn), Steven, Scott (Brianna). Dear great grandmother of Elliott. Loving sister in law of Jeannette Pierce. Nancy is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Nancy was very passionate about her career, she graduated from college with her master's in teaching. She worked for Lakeshore Public Schools for 35 years where she taught 4th grade and helped guide the children to be successful in their life endeavors. In her spare time Nancy loved to paint which showed her craftiness. She also enjoyed reading and decorating her house for the holidays. Those are just a few of the things that Nancy very much enjoyed. She was a wonderful soul and will be missed by many.

Instate on Friday, July 26, 2024 from 11:30 a.m. until a 12:00 p.m. memorial mass at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church, 48115 Schoenherr Rd., Shelby Twp.
Donations can be made to the Fr. Solanus Casey Center.
