Nancy Kurhan Obituary
Our beloved mother, Nancy Hall Kurhan, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2022, at the age of 96, after a long illness.
Mrs. Kurhan was born on February 15, 1926, in Hamden, Connecticut. She graduated from Colby Sawyer College in New London, New Hampshire in 1944 with an Associates degree in Commercial Science. She married her devoted husband, the late Mr. Irving Kurhan, in 1953. Mrs. Kurhan worked for many years, starting in the mid-1970s through the mid-1990s, at Norwalk, Connecticut public schools.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff (and wife Kris and four children) and Scott (currently residing in Portsmouth, Virginia); her grandson, Michael Kurhan (son of Jeff Kurhan) and his wife Devin; and her niece, Lynne Hall (currently residing in Baltimore, Maryland). She was a dedicated wife and mother who placed the well-being of her family above all else. Mrs. Kurhan preferred not be the center of attention, and so her services will be for immediate family members only.
