Nancy Kayleen Langley (nee Sandrell) of Dittmer, Missouri, was born September 7, 1954 in St. Louis, Missouri to Lawrence & Geneva (Simbeck) Sandrell and entered into rest Thursday, September 18, 2025 in Dittmer, Missouri at the age of 71 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence & Geneva (Simbeck) Sandrell; her loving husband, Randy Langley; her siblings, Shirley Niemeyer, Charles Sandrell, Bobbie McLean, and Nell Tracy. She is survived by her two sons, Steven (Jessica) Langley and Cody (Melissa) Langley; sister, Theresa (John) Albers, many nieces and nephews along with numerous other extended family and friends. Nancy Langley was a woman of boundless compassion, fierce devotion, and quiet joy. A loving mother, she poured her heart into raising her two sons, creating a home filled with laughter, warmth, and unforgettable memories. Nancy had a special connection with animals-her days often brightened by the presence of Felix, her beloved cat and the wild raccoons she lovingly fed. She treated every creature with kindness. She would stop her car to move turtles out of the road. She had a spirit of adventure. She was always ready for the next journey, whether it be across the country or through the spine-chilling twists of her favorite scary movies. She also loved Elvis, whose music brought her joy throughout her life. Nancy's life was a beautiful blend of care, curiosity, and courage, and her memory will forever live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Nancy attended Cathedral Grade School, now known as The Basilica School, and attended Roosevelt High School. After high school she went to California to live with her oldest sister, Shirley. She enjoyed her new freedoms found in California getting her first job at a bank and getting her own apartment with her friend, Diane. They enjoyed going to a nightclub at Disneyland to dance the nights away. Nancy's love of her life, Randy, visited her in California and proposed to her on a beach. Their love story began with their wedding on August 30, 1975. Together they had their 2 sons, Steven and Cody. They chose to move to Dittmer to raise their sons in a country atmosphere instead of the city. They enjoyed living on the lake and spending their days on the deck that Randy built and swimming in their pool with family and friends. Randy passed away September 13, 2017. Nancy vowed that she wanted to remain in that home for the rest of her life. Both Randy and Nancy passed in that home. Randy and Nancy, along with 3 of Nancy's sisters, Shirley, Barb & Annelle, and with Shirley's husband, Ken, will all be interred in a family crypt for their final resting place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Cedar Hill at private family ceremony.
