Kevin Joseph Lutz

Kevin J. Lutz Lutz, Kevin of Dittmer, Missouri, was born September 1, 1972 in St. Louis, Missouri to Pierre Lutz and Eleanor (nee Katzenberger) Katz and entered into rest Saturday, September 27, 2025 in St. Louis, Missouri at the age of 53 years. He is preceded in death by his parents Pierre Lutz and Eleanor (nee Katzenberger) Katz; and his brother, Kenneth Lutz. He is survived by his sisters, Kimberly (Brian) Eye and Karenda (Roderick "Rocky") Mella; nieces and nephews; Matt Eye, Nathaniel Mella, Chloe Mella, Kaeden Mella; longtime friend, Jennifer Mantle; along with numerous other extended family and friends. Kevin J. Lutz was a man who found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life and the beauty of the outdoors. He loved fishing, camping, and mushroom hunting, always appreciating the peace and adventure that nature had to offer. Kevin was also a passionate collector, fascinated by rare coins, arrowheads, and unique swords, each piece holding its own story. He had the biggest heart and never hesitated to help anyone in need, often putting others before himself. Kevin loved to laugh and could often be found watching his favorite shows on the Comedy Channel, sharing his humor with those around him. A true animal lover, he had a soft spot for all creatures and treated them with the same kindness he showed to people. Kevin's generous spirit, joyful laughter, and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Highway 30, Cedar Hill, MO 63016. Funeral Ceremony will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Hill Mortuary. Interment will immediately follow at Fairview Church Cemetery, 7998 Fairview Church Road, Grubville, Missouri 63041.
