It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Daniel E. Prescott, 60, of Saint Louis, MO who passed away on October 2nd, 2025. His close friend of 25 years, Christopher Schaefer, and his sister Katherine Kreutziger, were beside him when he passed. Born in Kansas City on January 5th, 1965, he grew up in Lee's Summit, MO, attending Lee's Summit High School and Rockhurst University and receiving a paralegal certification, which led to a career working in numerous law firms. Daniel was beloved by those who knew him. He had a young and generous spirit and an enthusiastic love of life. Daniel was passionate about music and loved attending concerts; he has seen some of the world's best musicians in his lifetime. Dan was also an art buff, with Andy Warhol being his favorite; his home was full of art and books. Dan also loved cats, and he has had many wonderful cats over the years. Although he was not a cook himself, he loved to watch cooking shows and learning about presentation. Daniel was very close to his sister Katherine and his brother-in-law Lou. During his niece Lindsey's childhood, Dan enjoyed spending time with her, picking her up to go to carnivals, showing up with a fun toy, and then in her later years taking her to amazing concerts. Daniel has shared the last 25 years of his life with his best friend Chris. They enjoyed spending time together, taking trips and having fun adventures, while supporting each other when needed. At Daniel's request no funeral or memorial service will be held. In honor of his six-month fight with liver cancer, donations can be made to the Mercy Health Foundation.
