Nancy McFalls Obituary
Nancy Lee Cogar McFalls, 82 of Whitesville, passed away Friday, December 26, 2025. Nancy was born August 29, 1943 in Jerryville and was the daughter of the late Bernard and Nina Mable Cadle Cogar. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Joseph McFalls, son, Franklin Junior McFalls, her faithful companion Moejoe and several of her siblings.
Nancy was a Baptist by faith. Nancy was a homemaker all her life, always taking care of her kids and grandkids even raising her granddaughter, Angela. She also was the second mom to her younger siblings and could give you a good switchin’ if you needed correcting.
Surviving are her kids, Mary (Bob Long) McCourt, Doug (Monie) McFalls, Lora “Ann” (Chip) Belcher, David (Loriann) McFalls, Patricia Fry and Angela (Brandon) McCoy; 13 grandkids, 18 great grandkids and 1 great-great grandchild; siblings, Linda (Junior) Smith, Roger (Sue) Cogar and Elizabeth (Jim) Mathes and many other extended family member and friends.
Graveside service will be 1:00 PM, Monday, December 29, 2025 at McAvoy Cemetery, Upperglade with Randall Kirk officiating.
