Died peacefully on Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Graduate of Wilkinsburg High School (1947) and Penn State (1951). Member of Delta Gamma sorority.
Preceded in death by her doting husband Robert, beloved sister Jane and devoted aunt Jane. Survived by her children Jeff, Craig and Drue (Jet).
Nancy met her husband Robert at Penn State. They moved to Wilkinsburg after graduation, then built a home in Penn Hills where they lived for over 50 years. Together they were a friendly and welcoming presence in the neighborhood, always stopping to chat and lend a helping hand.
Nancy was a talented real estate agent, beginning her long career with Lloyd & Kramer then joining Wilkinsburg/Forest Hills Real Estate, and eventually Northwood Penn Hills. Nancy enjoyed gardening, playing Bridge, reading, and caring for the neighborhood cats who adopted her and came running whenever they saw her. She had a keen eye for bargains and loved treasure hunting at garage sales. She also enjoyed music and saw many of her favorites perform, including Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett and Johnny Mathis.
Friends received at Wolfe Memorial, LLC, Forest Hills Chapel, 3600 Greensburg Pike, Pittsburgh PA 15221, on Wednesday, May 14, from 6 to 8pm, and also on Thursday, May 15, from 11am until the time of the funeral service at 12pm. Private burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wilkinsburg.
