Nancy Carolyn (Lytle) Mulder
July 19, 1933 – June 5, 2025
Nancy was born on July 19, 1933, to Earl and Hazel Lytle in Owosso, Michigan. She graduated from Owosso High School in 1952 and went on to have a career in banking. She married Milford L. Hunter on May 25, 1951, and raised four children. The family moved to DeWitt, Michigan in 1966 and she later retired to Harrison, Michigan, in 1983. Nancy married Donald Mulder in Harrison on October 21, 1989.
She is survived by her children, Kim (Richard) Groop, Jeffrey Hunter, Beth (Robert) Aben, and Thomas (Julie) Hunter; grandchildren, Leslie, Christopher, Dustin, Carrie (Matt), Kathryn (Dakotah), and Taylor; and great-grandchildren: Craig, Ethan, Teddy, Josie, Matthew, and Sadie. She is also survived by special friends Jenny Sparrow and Rosie Flinn, as well as extended family members.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald; sisters, Marjorie Lytle Nourse, Lois Lake, and Sallie VanEver; brothers, Charles "Bud" Lytle and James Lytle; special aunt, Margaret Jenkins; and special cousin, Susan Bailey.
Known for her love of animals, Nancy was a longtime member of the SAFE group in Harrison. She also served for many years as treasurer of the Sportsman's Club in Harrison.
The family wishes to extend heartfelt thanks to all the wonderful caregivers at Hazel I. Findlay in St. Johns. Your kind and compassionate care meant everything to us and to our mom. We also offer our sincere gratitude to the Compassus Hospice team for the care and support shown to our entire family, especially our mother.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, 11 AM at McGeehan Funeral Home, Keck-Coleman Chapel, 1500 Waterford Pkwy, St. Johns. Friends may visit from 10 AM until the time of the service. Burial Pine Tree Cemetery, Corunna.
Memorial contributions in Nancy's name may be made to Saved by Zade.
