Nancy J. Baumgartner, age 70 years, of Lomira was called home to be with the Lord on June 24, 2025, at Bay Harbor Arcadia in Beaver Dam surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was born on October 9, 1954, in Milwaukee to William (Sr) and Dorothy Baumgartner (nee Altmann).
Nancy early years were spent in Milwaukee. Later, Nancy attended and graduated from Ozaukee High School. She raised American Quarter Horses and participated in many horse shows. Nancy was the operator of Spring Hill Stable in Menomonee Falls. She was very artistic and creative. Nancy enjoyed writing poetry and prose and was a talented sketch artist with her favorite subjects being primitive farm life and animals. She also enjoyed being on the move, her travels around Wisconsin and United States brought her to many historical sites.
Those Nancy leaves behind to cherish her memory include her loving partner of 50+ years, Linda Kultgen; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her sisters, Judith (Frank) Rozga and Barbara Ann (Richard) Merrill; and brother, William (Luella) Baumgartner, Jr.
VISITATION: Nancy’s family will greet relatives and friends on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. at Myrhum-Patten Funeral & Cremation Service – 350 Main St. – Lomira, WI 53048).
SERVICE: A Funeral Service in remembrance of Nancy will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home with Rev. Daniel Schultz officiating.
Memorials in Nancy’s name can be directed to ASPCA, Missing & Exploited Children, or Dementia Research.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Bay Harbor Arcadia in Beaver Dam and Generations Hospice for their care and compassion.
Nancy has been reunited with all her animal companions on the other side of the rainbow bridge.
