Nancy M. (Fauteux) Paiva, 82, of New Bedford passed away at St. Luke's Hospital on Wednesday, June 26, 2024. Born in Acushnet she was the daughter of the late Wilfred H. Fauteux and the late Gladys (Donth) Fauteux.
She was a caring and compassionate nurses aid in home health care for most of her years and she had family and friends that loved and adored her.
Nancy is survived by her son, Jason K. Paiva of Tokyo, Japan; her daughter, Christine J. Paiva Stewart of Fairhaven and her grandson, Duncan F. Stewart.
She preceded in death by her sister, Janice Fauteux.
In accordance with her wishes, Nancy will be cremated. A Funeral Mass with her cremated remains present will be held Thursday, July 11th at 10am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, New Bedford. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
