Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Nancy Pepper, 82, of Tatum, Texas will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 13, 2026, at the Tatum Cemetery with Mr. Tracy Acker officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home.

Mrs. Nancy Ruth King Pepper was born May 10, 1943, in Gilmer, Texas. She passed this life March 11, 2026, in Longview, Texas. Nancy was born to the marriage of Evaughn Morris and Bob King. She was raised and schooled in Gilmer and graduated from schools in Harmony Hill. Nancy worked in the pulp yard and custodial services for Beckville I.S.D. One of Nancy's greatest accomplishments was being a cancer survivor. Her life revolved around her family, spending time with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, John Morris; grandson, Jake Loftis, and great great grandson Colsen Wimberley.

Mrs. Pepper is survived by her loving husband Jessie Pepper; children, Mark and Pam Loftis, Kelly and Tracy Acker, Tracy and Brenda Loftis; stepsons, Little Jessie Pepper and Edward Pepper; sister Bobbie Moore; grandkids, Hank and Kayla Wimberley, Justin Wimberley, Lacy Acker, Brooke and Leighton Webster, Dillon Loftis, Shelby Pepper, Kura Pepper, Hannah and Jeramiah Pepper; great grandchildren, Jayden Wimberley, Braden Wimberley, Macy and Lane Acker, Olive Bynum, Nash and Quinnie Wimberley, Fox, Launa Pepper, Jaxson, Makayla, Dean Pepper,

Madelyn Loftis, Harper, Holden Webster; great great grandchild, Hadlee Wimberley; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

I am so sorry to learn of Nancy Ruth's passing. Although we haven't been in touch for some time, we are 2nd cousins and spent fun times together with our families in our youth. May God's presence be very near to all the family as they learn to live life without her presence
