Born on August 19, 1939, in Plant City, FL, Nancy's life was a testament to the power of creativity, kindness, and a zest for life that touched everyone she knew.
The cherished wife of the late Jimmy Eugene Perkins, Nancy's enduring spirit and love continue to live through her children, Steve Perkins and Jason (Candy) Perkins. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Shannon, Desirae (Kyle), Janice (Chad), and Regan Perkins. Her legacy further blossomed with her adored great-grandchildren Nyne, Gavin, Nat, Chloe, and Wyatt, who will carry her memory forward.
Nancy was the last leaf on a family tree that saw the passing of her siblings Elwood Mobley, Tootsie Kirkland, Henry Mobley, and Peggy Copeland. Despite these losses, her life was rich with experiences and love, a fact that provided great comfort to her in her later years.
A lifelong member of the Plant City Church of Christ, Nancy's faith was the cornerstone of her existence. It was a source of strength and inspiration, shaping her into the loving and wise woman known to all. She was a well-traveled individual, having explored many corners of the globe, which only added to the depth of her understanding and the breadth of her compassion.
