Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt & Friend. Age 85. Died peacefully on Sunday, February 12th, 2023. Nancy is the beloved mother of Judith (Rick) Napper of Warren, Patricia (Paul) Boggus of St. Clair Shores, Craig (Kimber) Pierzchalski of South Dakota, Lynn (Mark) Pierzchalski-Goldstein of Colorado, and Jeffrey (Lisa) Pierzchalski of Macomb. Mrs. Pflanzer is also survived by her sister, Mary Lou Lauderback of Ohio, along with grandchildren: April, Taylor, Zachary, Jonathan, Courtney, Allison, and Hunter, and five great-grandchildren.
Nancy cherished her family and friends, and one of her favorite things was cooking and baking for them. There was always an open seat at her table to enjoy her delicious meals and a cup of coffee or tea. She also enjoyed traveling with her family and took many memorable trips to her favorite place - Hawaii.
Throughout her life, Nancy enjoyed many artistic hobbies, such as painting and sewing. She particularly enjoyed knitting beautiful blankets or anything else that caught her fancy. She would then give these works of art to family and friends to enjoy in their comfort for years.
For many years, Nancy was a dedicated and contributing member of the Christian Women's Group of St. Louise Church in Warren as well as the Red Hat Society of Michigan.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, February 16, at 10 a.m., in the Stone chapel of St. Hugo of the Hills Church, 2215 Opdyke Rd., Bloomfield Hills. Visiting hours have been arranged for Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 PM at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Directors (Vasu, Rodgers & Connell Chapel), 32515 Woodward Ave., Royal Oak. The rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM.
