Nancy Rose Potratz, passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 93. She was born on April 22, 1932, in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, to Harold and Margaret Krager. Her family later moved to Hudson, where Nancy graduated high school with the class of 1950.
On February 10, 1951, Nancy married the love of her life, Richard Potratz. Together, they raised three children: Teri, Dave, and Pam. Nancy initially worked as a secretary for Gherty Law Office before dedicating herself fully to her family as a devoted homemaker.
In addition to her family, Nancy found joy in serving others. She volunteered at the Christian Community Home for over 40 years, beginning her service in 1981. Her great sense of humor and love for working with people made her a cherished presence in her community.
She is survived by her children, Teri (Tom) Hopkins, Dave Potratz (Karen Beerkircher), and Pam (Jeff) Dabruzzi; her grandchildren, Anne (James Lafferty) Hopkins, Ben (Jas) Hopkins, and Jennifer (Ida-Ellen) Dabruzzi; great-grandchildren, Ana, Jacob, Brandon, Margaret, and George; brother-in-law Leon "Butch" Gary
She is preceded in death by her husband Richard; granddaughter Kate; siblings Ron (Viona) Krager and Sue Gary.
Private family services will be held. Memorials are preferred to the Christian Community Home.
