Nancy A. Powell (nee Skinner), 70, of O'Fallon, IL, born on August 4, 1954, passed away on January 12, 2025, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.
Nancy was a former member of the VFW Auxiliary #805 in O'Fallon, IL. She enjoyed the float trips with the girls, their family club house at the lake and crocheting Afghans. She always loved the warmth of summer and being in the sun.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Jacqueline Skinner (nee Fowler); brother, Terry Skinner, sister, Linda Brenner; and a brother Ned Skinner.
Left to cherish Nancy's memory are her beloved husband, John A. Powell of O'Fallon, IL; their two children, Neil Powell of O'Fallon, IL, Brian (Karen) Powell of Collinsville, IL; three sisters, Gail (David) Strohl of Salem, IL, Sally (Charles) Ziegler of Affton, MO, Rachel (Tom) Fleming of Trenton, IL; and four grandchildren, Stephen Powell, Keigan Powell, Kaeden Powell, and Kaylee Toohill.

A graveside funeral service will take place on Monday, January 27, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Camp Butler National Cemetery; 5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707.
