Nancy Charlotte Rector, a devoted high school teacher and beloved member of her community, passed away on August 7, 2025, in Bowling Green, Kentucky, at the age of 59. Born on April 9, 1966, in Warren County, Kentucky, Nancy led a life characterized by her passion for education and her unwavering commitment to her family.
Nancy earned her Master's Degree and dedicated herself to nurturing young minds as a high school teacher. In addition to her teaching career, she was incredibly proud of the cherished time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren, Bailey Rector White, Michael White and Derrick White, who brought immense joy to her life.
She is survived by her loving mother, Della Loretta Matthews (Roger), her daughter, Jessica Leigh White (Cameron), and her siblings, Robert T. Trent Jr., Steven Trent, and Roy Trent. They, along with her grandchildren, will forever hold her memory close in their hearts.
In her passing, Nancy rejoins her late fathers, Robert Thomas Trent and George M. Tuck, who have preceded her in death. The family finds comfort in remembering the warm spirit and loving nature that Nancy embodied throughout her life.
Visitation for Nancy will be held at Cone Funeral Home, located at 1510 Campbell Lane, Bowling Green, KY 42104, on August 10 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and again on August 11 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will follow on August 11, at 1:00 PM, leading to her burial at Fairview Cemetery, located at 1209 Fairview Avenue, Bowling Green, KY 42103, at 3:00 PM.
Nancy's legacy of love, dedication, and care will continue to resonate through her family, friends, and the many students whose lives she touched over the years.
