Sandy is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Dale J. Remont; son, Christopher Remont and wife Starr, son David Remont and wife Rita; sisters, Carole Fanguy and husband Dickey, Shirley Clawson, GiGi Price and husband Ricky, Debbi Chaisson and husband Easton and grandchildren, Jordan and Sydney Remont, Josh Boeker and wife Drew, Jennifer Wiedmer; great-daughter Mikaela; sister-in-law, Miriam Remont Tivet and companion John Guidry; sister-in-law, Erika "Rickey" Remont; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mildred Boudreaux. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Broussard, LA since 2000. Previously she was a member of Saint Hilary Catholic Church in Raceland, LA and St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church in Houma, LA.
Sandy was a legal secretary and worked with several attorneys. She retired from the Houma District Attorney's Office as Manager of the Child Support Division. She was a cancer survivor. She enjoyed traveling and being with friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, please contribute to your Local Breast Cancer Society or The Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital. We appreciate your prayers.
Friends and relatives are cordially invited to a visitation with the family at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Houma, LA on October 16, 2023, 409 Funderbunk Avenue Houma, LA 70364. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM with the first 30 minutes reserved for immediate family. Immediately following the visitation, A Mass of Christain Burial will be conducted at 11:00 AM. The Rites of Committal will follow in a private ceremony at St. Francis De Sales Cemetery No. II in Houma, LA.
A reception will be held in the Herbert Hall located behind the church following the Mass of Chrisitan Burial.
