A Life of Love, Strength, and Compassion
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our mother Albertha "Babsy" Pinto, who left this world on November 5, 2025, at the age of 83.
Born in a time of changing worlds, our mother grew up embracing every challenge with grace, tenacity and resilience. Her unwavering dedication to her family and friends was evident in every aspect of her life. She found joy in the little things-whether it was preparing favorite meals for family gatherings or offering a listening ear and wise words when they were needed most.
She was the widow of late Aloysious Pinto and is survived by her children: Beverly Breaux (spouse Mark Breaux) and Mickhiel Pinto (spouse Sheena Pinto); grandchildren Nathalie, Keira and Kai; sisters Yvonne Morrison, Alma Rego; and a host of extended family and friends who will continue to honor her memory.
A mass will be held at St. Peter's Catholic Church in New Iberia, Louisiana on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at 10am CT, followed by a private moment with close family at Louisiana Funeral Services to honor their mother and friend.
We are forever grateful for the time we shared and the love she gave. Rest in peace, dearest Mum. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
