Nancy Lee Robinson, 68, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away Sunday, November 2, 2025 at Corewell Health-Butterworth Hospital, Grand Rapids. The daughter of Edwin Kenneth & Genevieve Mary (Caplan) Robsinson, she was born on January 27, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan.
Nancy was a vivacious soul, full of laughter and love. She loved attending powwows and other cultural events to watch and hold respect to the Native American culture that her daughter and grandchildren have. Nancy loved music. She was often singing and dancing along. She loved her grandchildren very much. She loved spending time with and spoiling them.
She was preceded by her parents, Edwin Kenneth Robinson and Genevieve Mary Caplan; and a sister, Susan Schloh.
Surviving are her children, Genevieve Rose Sprague and James Monhead; three grandsons, Mordecai, Arlo and Ezra; a sister, Terry & Robert Church; a brother, Edwin Robinson; three nieces, Nicole Robinson, Julie & Tony Boutt, Laura & Bill White, and Colin & Erin Schloh; and many great nieces and great nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Nancy’s life from 12-4 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025 at the Luella Collins Community Center, 419 126th Ave, Shelbyville, Michigan 49344.
