Betty Robinson, 90, of Lawrenceville passed peacefully into eternal life, surrounded by her family, on November 3, 2025. Born June 7, 1935, Betty lived the majority of her life in the Lawrenceville area of Pittsburgh. She was a graduate of St. Augustine's High School and worked for many years at Equitable Gas company. She enjoyed her time as a receptionist for St. Mary's and St. Augustine's parish. These positions deepened her pride in being an involved member of the Lawrenceville community. She actively volunteered at voting polls and Fourth of July celebrations at Arsenal park.
Her most cherished role, however, was that of raising and caring for her family: Beloved wife of Francis "Fran" Robinson; loving mother of Donald (Nancy) Keenan, Mark (Diana) Keenan and Chrissy (Ron) Masucci; grandmother of Kelly (Mike) Zaleski, Kaitlin Keenan, Lauren (Elliot Abraham) Keenan, Cody (Ashley) Keenan, Mia Masucci and Jenna Masucci; great grandmother of Emma "Little Red" Zaleski; daughter of the late James and Philomena "Minnie" Corriere; sister of the late Nancy Corriere; Joseph Corriere; dear friend of Barb and Jim Kelly; many cousins, nieces and nephews. A lifelong Catholic, Betty lived her life with grace, humility, and unwavering faith. Her quiet strength and devotion to God guided her family throughout many joys and challenges. She truly believed in the power of prayer and lighting many candles after mass. Her favorite novena was to St. Therese of Lisieux. She loved being surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great granddaughter. She was the embodiment of kindness and generosity, always putting the needs of others before her own. She will be forever missed.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at D'Alessandro Funeral Home & Crematory Ltd. (4522 Butler St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201) Funeral Mass 10am at St. Pio Parish, St. Augustine Church (225 37th St, Pittsburgh, PA 15201).
