Nancy M. Rosen, born on June 29, 1962, passed away on January 26, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She passed peacefully in her home in Monroe, North Carolina, surrounded by love.
Nancy was a devoted mother and grandmother whose strength, resilience, and unwavering care for her family were evident throughout her life. She was a proud widow (Lawrence Rosen) who carried herself with quiet determination and grace, always putting her loved ones first.
Nancy retired after many years of dedicated service with the United States Postal Service, where she was known for her strong work ethic, reliability, and kindness to those she served and worked alongside. Even in retirement, she remained deeply involved in the lives of her family, finding her greatest joy in time spent with them.
She is survived by her four children: Maria Olsen (husband Adam Beard), Joanna Murphy (husband Vinny Murphy), and John Olsen; and her stepson, Jason Rosen. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren, Madilyn and Michael Murphy, among others, who brought her endless pride and happiness.
Nancy will be remembered for her perseverance, her loving heart, and the lasting impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Details regarding a celebration of life will be shared soon.
