My parents were very good friends with Murphy sample and his mother Miss Nan back in the 50s... even after growing up I still went to see them on body Road. Murphy and Polly were always very sweet to me. I was sorry when Murphy passed in 2008 but I continued to go see Polly occasionally at least once a year when I lived in Florida. My last visit with her was the early part of 2024. She shared the above photo with me.

Nancy was the lab tech, phlebotomist at Pasquotank County health dept for many years. She was a faithful co worker and shared her expertise with this inexperienced RN. I appreciated her as both a friend and co worker.
