Nancy Joan Sandwick

Nancy Joan (Davidson) Sandwick (83) died of natural causes on May 6, 2024, in Olympia, Washington. She was born August 9, 1940, to Carl Davidson and Dorothy (DeVine) Davidson in Seattle, Washington.
Nancy graduated from Port Angeles High School in Port Angeles, Washington, and Tacoma General Nursing School in Tacoma, Washington. She married Tom Sandwick on November 27, 1970, in Seattle. Professionally she worked in nursing at Virginia Mason Hospital, Providence St. Peter Hospital, Port Angeles Coast Guard, Evergreen Health, and Providence Chemical Dependency Center.
She was a great fan of Paul Simon and traveled to New York often to take tours with other fans and see his concerts. She also enjoyed traveling abroad and even went on safari. She was a member of the Unity Church.
Nancy is survived by her sons, Brian Sandwick and Michael Sandwick; former husband, Tom Sandwick; and brother, Gary Davidson. She was predeceased by her parents.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Friendly Ridge Senior Park Club House, 1111 Archwood Dr. SW, Olympia, WA 98502.
