SPRINGFIELD

Nancy Frances (DiRosa) Serrenho, 61, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, January 12, 2026, after a courageous ten year battle with cancer. Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Baldassare DiRosa and Nancy Pearl (Johnson) Provost.

Nancy lived a life defined by passion, honesty, and heart. Whether she was caring for her family, laughing with friends, collecting turtles, or spending long days by the ocean she loved so deeply, she embraced every moment with authenticity. She was never afraid to speak her mind, and those who knew her will forever remember her strength, humor, and unwavering spirit.

Throughout her life, Nancy served her community with dedication-from bartending at Sophia's Sports Bar to brightening mornings in the bakery at Rice's Fruit Farm. Her customer service was always exceptional, and she formed countless connections with the people she met along the way.

Nancy is survived by her 2 children, Jamie Lee Serrenho and Eric James Serrenho & wife Ashley, companion of many years, Dave Paxton, siblings, Angelo DiRosa & wife Ewa, Elizabeth Runshaw & significant other Christopher Bettro and Giovanna Tredo, former husband, James Serrenho, 7 grandchildren, Damian, Wyatt, Cayleigh, Cameron, Azi, Mason and Luna, and several nieces & nephews.

Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her older brother, Benjamin DiRosa.

Funeral Services will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28th at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust Street in Springfield, with a Prayer Service beginning at 10 a.m.
