Nancy L. Slaght

SLAGHT, Nancy – of Clio, age 74, died Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at Maple Woods Manor. Honoring her wishes, cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.

Nancy was born December 22, 1951, in Flint, to the late Walter and Norma (Nuttle) Worthing. She attended Clio Community Schools and retired from Genesee County after many years working as a secretary. Nancy was a woman of faith who enjoyed attending church and was a member of the Clio Senior Center. She liked sitting on the patio and being outdoors, spending time with her beloved cats, knitting and crafts, and cooking. Nancy was a wonderful woman who will be dearly missed.

Nancy is forever remembered by: Sons, Roger II, and Gregory; Grandchildren: Corey, Charles, and Christopher (Christina); Great Grandchildren: Thomas and Loraine; Brothers: Walter J. Worthing and Larry Worthing; Many nieces and nephews, from both the Slaghts and Worthings; many extended family and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by: Daughter, Lorie Gardener; Son, Cameron Brown and Brother, David.
