Nancy A. Sobotka

Nancy A. Sobotka, 75, passed away suddenly on September 15, 2025. Born on October 17, 1949, in Oak Park, Illinois. She was a devoted mother to Steven (Allison) Sobotka, Adam Sobotka, and Matthew Sobotka, and a doting grandmother to Layla and Claire Sobotka. Her role as a sister was held dear in the hearts of Donna (David) Heffron and Marla (David) Fisher, and many nieces and nephews.

Nancy's vibrant spirit shone through the unwavering love of her family, fun and dancing with friends, and the joy she found shopping for her granddaughters, whom she loved dearly and would have done anything to see smile. Her friends knew Nancy by her fun-loving nature and spontaneity. She was the friend who would listen and offer a shoulder to lean on.

As we bid farewell to Nancy A. Sobotka, we celebrate a life lived with warmth and an unwavering commitment to the people that brought her joy. Her legacy is one of love, friendship, and the countless lives she touched with her generous spirit.

Visitation 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2025, at Modell Funeral Home, 7710 South Cass Avenue, Darien where a 10:30 a.m. Chapel Service will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. Interment Private.
