Nancy S. Spinale of East Falmouth passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 83. Born in Framingham, she was the beloved wife of the late C. Paul Spinale and the daughter of the late Margaret (Conboy) and George Sherman. Nancy was raised and educated in Framingham, graduating from Holy Cross Academy in 1959 and Framingham State College in 1963.
While attending Framingham State, Nancy met Paul at his dental office in Framingham, where her mother worked as a receptionist. The two married in 1964, beginning a lifelong journey together. Nancy started her teaching career at Saxonville Elementary School in Framingham, where she taught third grade. After dedicating 20 years to raising her children, she returned to teaching as a Title One reading instructor at McCarthy Elementary School in Framingham until she retired in 2000.

They continued their tradition of community involvement, volunteering as greeters at both Falmouth Hospital and St. Elizabeth Seton Church. Nancy was also a member of the Falmouth Hospital Auxiliary, the Newcomers/Encore Club of Falmouth, the Falmouth Garden Club, and the Fairway Pointe Neighborhood Assoc.
Nancy and Paul were passionate supporters of their children and grandchildren, attending countless sporting events and frequently cheering on the Patriots and Boston College football teams. As members of the Ballymeade Country Club and the Boston College Club of Cape Cod, they enjoyed socializing with friends and family on many occasions. Nancy, a social golfer, was part of the Ballymeade ladies' nine-holer group where she cherished the camaraderie and après gatherings.
Always the consummate hostess, Nancy had a gift for making everyone feel welcome. She embodied warmth, generosity, and a true sense of community. Whether through her professional achievements, volunteer work, or family gatherings, she created an environment where all felt at home.
