Nancy Stone

Nancy Jo Stone, age 60 of Camdenton, Missouri left this earth to be with her heavenly Father on June 13, 2024, at Lake Regional Hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri.
She was born on September 9th, 1963, in Lebanon, Missouri to Dan and Carol Stone of Camdenton.
Nancy attended Camdenton School District, K-12, and graduated in 1981. She then attended what was then known as SMSU in Springfield, Missouri. She graduated in 1983 with a bachelor's degree in art. Nancy then obtained her certification to teach art and taught at Rock Bridge High School in Columbia, Missouri, where she was adored by faculty and her students.
Nancy was a beautiful, loving, kind, compassionate, funny, gentle, caring, talented artist and teacher. Her smile lit up the room and was contagious. Nancy touched so many lives and was an inspiration to all she met. She was a devoted Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Camdenton.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dan L. Stone, her maternal grandparents Jesse and Dorothy Wood, her paternal grandparents Jack and Leona Stone, her uncles Sam Wood (Lita), J.D. Wood (Nathalie), her aunt Juanita Cliburn (B.H.), and several beloved cousins.
Nancy is survived by her mother Carol Stone, her sister Patti Stone and her husband Shannon Scrivner, all of Camdenton, Missouri. She is also survived by many cousins she loved dearly.
A Celebration of Life Visitation will be held Thursday, June 20th from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home, 1270 Business Route 5, Camdenton, Missouri.
