Nancy Terwilliger Obituary

Nancy Mae Terwilliger, 89, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025, at Concordia at the Orchard.
She was born Oct. 19, 1936, in Butler, to the late Troy and Grace (Shearer) Henry.
Nancy graduated from Evans City High School in 1954. She worked as a cashier for Thorofare Market for five years and was also a homemaker for her loving family. Mrs. Terwilliger was a member of East Butler Presbyterian Church, as well as the Butler Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxiliary, the Marienville Rod and Gun Club, and did volunteer work for Second Grace, as well as First United Methodist Church.
Nancy enjoyed reading, sewing, solving crossword puzzles, building jigsaw puzzles, being outdoors, gardening, camping, fishing with her husband, as well as spending time with her loving family.
She is survived by her two daughters, Beverly (Terry) Geibel and Diane Stephens and her friend, Ron Gold; her two sons, Terry (Debbie) Terwilliger and Glenn (Maureen) Terwilliger; her seven grandchildren, Joshua Geibel, Amber (Brandon LaMotte) Terwilliger, Troy Terwilliger, Cody Terwilliger, Brook (Ely Elliot) Terwilliger, Dalton Stephens and Kaleb (Brittany Crissman) Stephens; her stepgrandchildren, Christopher Cain, Sandi Kradel and Bradley Kradel; her three great-grandchildren, Noah LaMotte, Milo LaMotte and Tucker Geibel; her brother, Eugene Henry; her two sisters-in-law; as well as by her numerous nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard D. Terwilliger, whom she married May 22, 1958, and who passed away Jan. 10, 2014; her son, Dennis R. Terwilliger; her two brothers, Leroy Henry and Russell Henry; as well as her sister, Jean Morris.
TERWILLIGER - Friends and family of Nancy Mae Terwilliger, who died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2025, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, at THOMPSON-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, 124 E. North St., Butler.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Mathias officiating.
A private burial will take place in Butler County Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Pennsylvania Chapter, 2835 E. Carson St., Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203, www.alz.org/pa.

Our most sincere condolences on the loss of your mother, grandmother. She has been a kind and wonderful neighbor for nearly 46 years. We enjoyed our visits with her, especially in the summer on our porches. We were very fond of her. God Bless her and all of you. Sincerely, Dave & Becky Stewart & family.
