We have so many fond memories of our time spent with Nancy at Echo Lake and Winape Hills. Looking back: snowshoeing, hiking, time on the lake, social gatherings, our first and last annual Thanksgiving football game with Roland, Nancy´s dad, as one of our fans. Wonderful, delightful, times that make beautiful memories; ones that we will always cherish. We extend our sincere condolences to Mary, Mike, the Tessier family and her many friends.

Mary and Nancy's Family, our sincere sympathy. We knew Nancy here in the Northeast Kingdom. I meet Nancy when she replaced the Principal at Troy School who left unexpectedly. I was the Administrative Assistant and really enjoyed working with her. She was so kind and thoughtful, we made a great team. She had to come back a few years later and again was my Principal, the circumstances were different and again we worked together and became Friends. My husband and I are very indebted to her for being supportive and understanding during a sensitive time at Troy School. We will always remember her as a True Friend and miss Her. Ms. Nancy Tessier!
No words can describe the amazing and positive impact in my life as my 3rd and 4th grade teacher at the Jewett Street School! She drew out the best in all of us! She encouraged and challenged everyone according to their abilities and beyond! I owe a great deal of success in life due to her influence and mentorship!

Nancy was the best kind of teacher....she taught her students how to be their strongest, best selves. And helped this adult to use her time and ability to help others, too. We´re grateful for having known her. Condolences to Mary and family.

Miss Tessier had an amazing impact on my life and my family. My mother worked for Miss Tessier at Wilson in the mid 80s. She was a friend and counsel during some difficult times. Myself and my sister were students at Beech. I remember returning to Beech when I graduated from Memorial. Miss Tessier was so proud. I regret not keeping in touch. She touched so many lives and left a lasting legacy in Manchester. My condolences and prayers to her family and friends.

A truly great leader is hard to find, difficult to part with & impossible to forget. Nancy was that person! In whatever role she was in, Nancy built cultures centered on meeting needs of the whole child and her true dedication made differences for countless people of all ages that will continue to live on. Nancy also enjoyed life to the fullest and I look back on our times together with great memories and a wide smile!

Nancy was the most amazing person and she certainly left her mark on our community. I always enjoyed our conversations whether it was our friendly competition between Camp Bernadette or Camp Huckins or what more could be done for her students. She was extremely helpful when Summerbridge, now Breakthrough, was established at The Derryfield School. Most recently she was a cheerleader for Manchester Proud, the community led educational initiative. She left her legacy and will be missed.

Our hearts are beyond broken to learn of "Miss Tessier´s " passing.. Both of my sons Matthew and Andrew´s attended "The Beech"...
She was the only principal that I´ve known who was a pleasure to get the dreaded phone call : "Mrs. Croteau, this the principal from Beech Street School, your son is here in my office"..
May her memory be eternal..
With all of our love
