Nancy M Thomas

Nancy M. Thomas, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on November 18, 2023. She was born in Anderson, Indiana on February 22, 1960. Nancy was a graduate of Madison Heights High School in 1978, and dedicated 40 years to the City of Anderson Water Department, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and commitment. Known as the most giving and caring person, Nancy's infectious smile and laughter illuminated every room she entered.
Her joyous spirit found fulfillment in spoiling her cherished grandchildren - Nic, Paislee, Alivia, and Kate - playing poker, and basking in the sunshine with family and friends. Nancy, preceded in death by her father Russell and brothers Gary and Dean, is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Richard, her sons Richard (Brooke), Michael, and Matthew (Ashley). She is also survived by her mother Carolyn Gipson, her brother Tim (Tuoi) Manifold, and sisters Tracy (Jerry) Shannon, and Tina Wilson.
Nancy's warmth and kindness touched the lives of many, leaving an indelible mark on nieces, nephews, cousins, and a multitude of friends. She will be remembered for her unwavering love and the countless moments of joy she shared with those fortunate enough to know her. May she rest in eternal peace.

A celebration of life will take place at the Moose Lodge #150, 225 Pine St, Anderson, on Saturday November 25, at 4pm. Join us in remembering the light that Nancy brought to all our lives.
