She was born August 26, 1931 in New York, NY, the daughter of the late Dominic and Julia (Lenci) Gambino.
She is survived by three sons: Daniel (Dorothy) Thompson of O'Fallon, David (Ann) Thompson of Arkansas and Douglas (Khristy) Thompson of Lebanon, IL; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Nancy was a supervisor in housekeeping at Belleville Memorial Hospital, and a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses faith.
I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done. I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, of laughing times and happy times, and bright and shiny days. I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun of Happy memories that I leave when my life is done.
She was a good mother, grandmother and Gigi.
