Beverly Jean Thompson

Beverly Jean Thompson, age 84 passed away on Saturday morning, September 27, 2025, in Garland, Texas.

Beverly was born in Wade, Oklahoma to Laynie C. Harrod and Christine Hauk Harrod. Wade is where she and her three siblings attended school. They graduated at Bokchito High School.

After moving to the Dallas area, she and her husband, Kenneth Thompson moved to 1118 Crockett Street, Garland, Texas where they started their lives together. And she built her career in the insurance industry, where she served in many supervisory positions.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents Laynie and Christine Harrod, brothers Johnny and George, her sister Susan and her eldest son, Jarred Keith Thompson.

Beverly is survived by her son, Justin Karl Thompson, his wife Katie, their daughters Payton, Alexis (Alexis's husband, Jordan Eudy, and their daughter Wren) Ireland, Addi and son Justin. As well as her son, James Kelly Thompson, his wife Jennifer and their daughters, Kassidy and Ashley. Also survived by her daughter in law, Louann and children , Cody and Lily. She is also survived by Kenneth Thompson with whom she shared the sons and grandchildren.

Beverly will be forever remembered as someone with a quick wit, someone who liked to share the simple joys of life with friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all of those who loved her.
