Dallas, Texas, Catherine was a lifelong resident of the Dallas area and rooted her life in faith, family, and the community she loved. She lived each day with a deep trust in God and a heart guided by prayer.
Catherine was the devoted wife of Anthony Macaluso, with whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on love, partnership, and family. They raised five children: Anthony (Joy) Macaluso, Anna (Daniel) Valles, Monica (Daniel) Castro, Raymond (Tricia) Macaluso, and Aaron (Belinda) Macaluso. She was a proud matriarch whose greatest joy was being surrounded by her family.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Raymond and Annie Terranella, her sister Angie, and her brother Philip, who now welcome her into eternal rest.
Those who knew Catherine will remember her as faithful, loving, friendly, family oriented, artistic, and kind. She was an excellent cook, known for meals that brought people together. She loved hosting gatherings, playing games, and traveling, always finding joy in connection and new experiences. Her creativity shone through in her artistic talents, and her warmth made everyone feel welcome in her home.
