Nancy R Thompson

Nancy R. Thompson, nee Davies, age 88. Beloved wife of the late Charles Thompson; loving mother of Allen (JoEllen) Thompson, Carol (the late Jesse) Medina, Louise (James) Bartnick, Chuck (Debi) Thompson, and Jennifer (Justis) Beard.
Devoted grandmother of 10; great-grandmother of 8; fond sister of Evan (the late Phyllis) Davies and the late Ann (the late Edward) Jares; beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Downers Grove.
She was active in many ministries with her church family including Director of Awana, bible study leader, Golden Heirs, Deaconess, and helping in the church office.
She was very proud of her Welsh heritage and was the former president of The Women's Welsh Clubs of America.
Although the last few years have been marked by illness, Nancy lived life to the fullest. Above all, she loved the Lord and had a servant's heart.
Memorial Gathering Saturday, January 17th from 11am until 2pm with a service at 12pm at Knollcrest Funeral Home, 1500 S. Meyers Rd, Lombard. Interment private. For info: 630-932-1500.
