Nancy Traver, 61, of Faulkton, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2024, at Faulkton Area Medical Center.
Graveside services will be 1:30p.m., Friday, July 26, 2024, at the Faulkton Cemetery, with Pastor Shawn Stoll presiding.
Nancy Lynn Traver was born April 13, 1963, in Faulkton, SD to Gene and Phyllis (Sangster) Traver. She grew up in the Faulkton area where she attended school and later completed her G.E.D. She went on to attend Lake Area Technical College, working toward her certificate in cosmetology
In the early 1980's, Nancy married Tom Pfeifer. Together they had two children, Crystal and Shadoe. In 1995, Nancy moved to Watertown where she worked for Old Home Bakery. She returned to Faulkton and worked for various businesses, including Bauer's Super Value, Faulkton Senior Living, and Cabinet and Interiors.
Nancy enjoyed working with her hands. She loved to crochet, making doilies and afghans for her family and friends. Music was also a huge love of hers as well as motorcycles, fishing, camping, collecting precious moments, and anything with an eagle.
Nancy's life will forever be cherished by her daughter, Crystal Pfeifer (Malcolm Barratt), Watertown; father, Gene Traver, Faulkton; grandchildren: Trystan Richeal, and Rayne and Aaleigha Barratt; siblings: Denise Traver, Faulkton and Natalie (Steve) Faber, Garretson; nieces: Heather (Rob) Martin, Cassie (Dallas) Gjertson, and Faith Ann Walker; nephews: Justin (Jessica) Walker and Levi Faber; aunt, Alice (Dean) Sangster, Faulkton; and many great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Phyllis; son, Shadoe Pfeifer; sister, Debbie Traver; grandparents: Glenn and June Sangster and Cecil and Leona Traver; aunt, Glenda Sangster; and uncles, Ronnie Sangster and Royal Traver.
Luce Funeral Home of Faulkton has been entrusted with Nancy's arrangements.
