Nancy Wallis Anderson Obituary
Mrs. Nancy Jean Wallis Anderson, 76, of Bermuda Run, NC passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Forsyth Medical Center. She was born July 5, 1947 in Cortland, NY to Ronald and Althea Applegate Wallis. Mrs. Anderson was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had many hobbies such as playing cards with her grandchildren, tending to her koi pond and loving on her animals. Nancy fostered babies for many years in her home. She was an activity director in a nursing home for many years and volunteered for Hospice. She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Richard “Rich” Anderson. Surviving are two daughters, Susan Camden (Paul) and Laura Marino (Ron); one son, Richard Trevor Anderson (Andrea); five grandchildren, Brianna Marino, Alyssa Marino, Joshua Logan Camden, Richard Anthony Anderson and Theresa Marie Anderson. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2024 at Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel with Rev. Katharine Martin officiating. Memorials may be made to Trellis Supportive Care, 101 Hospice Lane, Winston-Salem, NC 27103.
