Nancy loved children, for most of her life she worked taking care of them in one fashion or another from home daycare to working at Club West's day care and many others. She was an honest caring soul in later years she worked with her daughter Robn helping take care of developmentally challenged adults.

Nancy was the light of the room from her weird humor and quick jokes. She was always there to pick you up no matter how hard the fall and also welcoming people in. She had a love for animals over the years having many dogs. Upon the death of her son taking on the responsibility of taking care of his cat (which understand she never liked cats but grew to love) to her final and most special companion Tator. Nancy bravely fought cancer twice in her life once in her late 40's with breast cancer and the other in her 80's that unfortunately took her home to be with God. She will be forever missed and cherished. Her son and daughter have decided to fulfill her wishes and have her ashes buried in Texas with her husband Chuck.
