Nancy Wills Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home from Mar. 7 to Mar. 11, 2026.
Nancy Louise Farris Wills, age 83, passed away on Friday, March 6, 2026, in Aldie, Virginia.

Nancy was born on August 27, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky to Walter and Louise Farris. The family moved several times when she was growing up between Kentucky and Colorado. She graduated from Metcalfe County High School in Edmonton, Kentucky.

Nancy went on to the University of Louisville and became a registered dental hygienist. She met her husband, Claude Stephen "Steve" Wills when she was cleaning his teeth. Nancy and Steve were married in July of 1964. They lived in Lexington together where their only child, Andrew "Andy" was born in 1971. The family moved to Alexandria, Virginia in 1972. Nancy joined a dental practice in Arlington and cleaned the teeth of multiple members of Congress and even some Supreme Court Justices.

Nancy continued to live in the Northern Virginia area in Alexandria, Falls Church, Arlington, Merrifield, Sterling, and finally in Chantilly.

Nancy is survived by her daughter-in-law, Rachel and her twin grandchildren, Sarah and Stephen. She is preceded in death by her husband, Steve (1998), and son, Andy (2024). She was lucky enough to live around the corner from Andy, Rachel, and her grandchildren for 23 years.

Nancy was known for her salty temperament and quick wit, her love of cross stitch, college basketball, and her passion for genealogy. She had mapped her family's presence in the United States to pre-Revolutionary War times. She made the best zucchini bread and always enjoyed a good game of cards.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday March 20, 2026, at the Paris Cemetery.

The funeral arrangements were entrusted to the Lusk-McFarland Funeral Home Chapel, 1120 Main Street, Paris, KY. The online guestbook is at www.Lusk-McFarland.com and a 24-hour funeral information line can be reached by calling 859-987-4387.
