Nancy Wolski Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 24, 2023.
Nancy Stephanie Wolski, 77, of Alexandria, VA, passed away peacefully on December 24th, 2023 at The Fairfax at Belvoir Woods.
Nancy was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey on March 4th, 1946 to Edward and Cecelia Stonik. Nancy got her bachelor's degree in English from Wilkes College and subsequently taught fourth grade before deciding to stay at home with her own children. Nancy met her husband, John Francis Wolski, when they were both high school students. Their relationship lasted all the way through college and they married on July 5th, 1969. They began their marriage in Westfield, New Jersey and eventually made their way down to Alexandria, Virginia where they built a wonderful life together over the past 46 years.
Nancy was a special person who gave her time and talents to many organizations. She enjoyed volunteering for the National Symphony Orchestra and for the funeral committee at Good Shepherd Catholic Church. She will be remembered as being generous, organized and very fashionable. She loved to read and cherished her time with her book club and her friends.
Mrs. Wolski is survived by her husband John Wolski, her two daughters, Diana Beronio (Chris) of Middletown, DE, Jane Rennyson (Steve) of Charlotte, NC and her five grandchildren, Madelin, Nicholas, Carter, Brady and Natalie.
A private family service will be held at a future date.
The family would like to thank the kind nurses and staff at The Fairfax at Belvoir Woods for taking care of Nancy during the last few months of her life. They made her feel safe and comfortable and gave our family a tremendous amount of support for which we are very grateful.
In lieu of flowers, please send a donation in Nancy's honor to Capital Caring Health.
