Nancy Graduated from Richfield High School ('79) and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the University of Minnesota ('83). Nancy worked at Methodist Hospital for several years where she specialized in hematology, until she left to care for her dependent children.
Nancy enjoyed fishing, skiing, and being an avid University of Minnesota Gophers fan. She was a detailed, family-ancestry enthusiast, spending hours detailing documentation as the family archivist, for both her families. She also enjoyed managing a vast collection of family photos. Nancy and Paul loved hosting family and friends at their home, especially around the 4th of July, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day. Known for her culinary skills, Nancy could feed armies of guests with her delicious cooking.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 9th at 11:00 AM at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Excelsior, MN. A visitation will be held hour prior to the service at 10:00 AM at the church. A luncheon will follow at the church. A private family graveside service will be at 2:00 PM at Crystal Lake Cemetery, North Minneapolis, MN.
Special thanks to Dr John Seng, his nurse Jen Lamey RN, and the MNO team for wonderful, and compassionate Oncologic care over the last 2 years. In lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to the following organizations:
