Nanette was born to Iven R. Hammontree & Mildred (Campbell) Hammontree on May 26th, 1928 in Gebo, Wyoming.
Nanette lived in Billings, MT then later moved back to Sheridan, WY where she worked for Sheridan Stationary for several years. She loved bingo and sewing.
She was married to Harold Carlson on October 29th, 1948, in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Nanette is survived by her children, Sherlyn (Dave) Oakes and Kent (DeAnne) Carlson, all of Sheridan, WY.
Her grandchildren include – Chris Oakes, Jason (Linsey) Carlson, Katie Carlson, Shawn Oakes, Sarah (Adam) Fitch, Ben (Jen) Carlson, Brenda (Trent) Sessions, and Nick (Whitney) Krenning. 15 great- grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Iven R. Hammontree & Mildred (Campbell) Hammontree; her husband, Harold Carlson; and her brother, Iven R. Hammontree.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, Oct 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
A memorial will be held at a later date.
Kane Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
