Geraldine Frances Carlson, nee Smith, age 85, beloved wife for 65 years to the late Vern "Bob" Carlson, loving mother of Bob (Betty) Carlson, Tom (Barb) Carlson and Don (Sandy) Carlson, cherished grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 13, devoted sister of Joe (Adeline) Smith, Jean (Ed) Hoogland and the late Peggy (the late George) Marshall; also nieces and nephews. Geri enjoyed sewing, gardening, travelling but most of all she loved to spend time with her family and going to her lake house in Michigan. Visitation Sunday September 28, 2025 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Modell Funeral Home, 7710 S. Cass Ave., Darien. Family and friends will gather for a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday September 29, 2025 10:30 a.m. at St. Raphael Church, 1215 Modaff Rd. Naperville, IL. 60540. Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the start of mass. Immediately following mass a procession will take place to Clarendon Hills Cemetery.
