Naomi Louise Johnson, affectionately known as "Sis", was born on December 23, 1953, in Wilmington, Delaware, to Naomi Satterfield. She departed this life on September 1, 2025.
Naomi received her education in the Wilmington School System and graduated from Pierre S. DuPont High School. She later attended Delaware Technical and Community College.
Naomi was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Naomi Satterfield; her sister, Deborah Satterfield; and her son, Stephon Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children, Thomas "Butter" Johnson, Tyhesha "Pooch" Johnson, and Cartier "Buke" Johnson, Sr.; 10 grandchildren, Davien, Sr., Dayona, Danya, Cartier, Jr., Cartrell, Daykir, Doriyea, Kenturi, Jhurnee, and Janiya; and one great-grandson, Davien, Jr.
She is also survived by her father, Donald Satterfield, Sr.; her siblings, Ida Ringgold, Dinah Brown, Donald Satterfield, Jr, and Rodney Satterfield; her sister-in-law, Kim Satterfield, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and loved ones.
Naomi will be remembered for her warmth, her love of family, her joy in cooking, storytelling, and her laughter that could brighten any day.
Her legacy of love and strength will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
