Narinedat Lokhnauth Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Greenville Memorial Home on Dec. 29, 2025.
Nadinedat Lokhnauth, lovingly known as Curry, was born on November 18, 1968-a bouncing baby boy-to the late Ramnarine Lokhnauth, known as Baychu, and Drupatie Lokhnauth. He was the eldest of five siblings: Pump, Wattie, Leela, Kaho, and the late Lokoboy. On November 19, 1991, he married the love of his life, Sheila. From their union, four beautiful children were born: the late Parveen and Hemant, Somya and Manoj. He was a father-in-law to Feiona and Papo, and a proud grandfather to Aryan. He worked as a sugar cane harvester, a job that showed his strength and determination. Later in life, his health took a difficult turn, but he never gave up. Little by little, he fought his way back with resilience and faith. In March 2016, we migrated to the United States and began a new chapter. Sadly, on November 9, 2019 his health took another severe turn, the beginning of a long and painful battle. Yet, true to who he was, he never gave up. He fought bravely until the day he passed away. Narinedat Lokhnauth was the strongest man I have ever known. To say he was a good man would be an understatement-he was an extraordinary man who lived humbly, acting like an ordinary one. He was an amazing friend, brother, uncle, husband, father, and grandfather. He loved deeply and was loved by so many.
