Natalia Ciriaco Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McCrery & Harra Funeral Home and Crematory - Concord Pike on Oct. 31, 2025.
Natalia Ciriaco, fine artist, teacher, wife, and mother ascended to heaven on October 27th, 2025 after a long struggle with cancer. She is survived by Travis, her husband of 25 years and her children, Gabriella, Ava and Dominic as well as her siblings, Michael King (Emma), Christine Mooney (Lance), Larysa King and her parents Daria and Dan King.

Natalia was raised in Damascus, Maryland, a small rural community. During her teen years she attended the American School in London, England and it was there that she realized her love of art. She completed her schooling in the U.S and enjoyed cheerleading and her many friends.

In college, she continued to pursue art and loved to share it with others, becoming a teacher of art with a bachelor's and master's degree in education. Shortly after college she married and started a family, raising three beloved children. Natalia's passion for art inspired her to start her own business, creating custom paintings and prints. Her love for nature was evident through her art. Some of Natalia's favorite moments were watching the sun rise and set from the balcony of the family condo at Ocean City, Maryland. She also loved the sound of rain falling during a summer storm. Although taken from us too soon, her connection with art, nature, and her loved ones will live on in our hearts and memories.

A visitation will be held for Natalia on Friday, November 7th from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by mass beginning at 11:00 a.m. at St. John/Holy Angels Catholic Church, 82 Possum Park Rd. Newark, DE 19711. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Newark Arts Alliance in Natalia's memory, www.newarkartsalliance.org
