Natalia Rodriguez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Mission Park Funeral Chapels Cherry Ridge on Dec. 2, 2025.
In Loving Memory of Natalia Sanchez Rodriguez

Natalia Sanchez Rodriguez, 89, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 27, 1936.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of more than 60 years, Rene Rodriguez Sr.; her mother Maria Concepcion Tovar; father Ignacio Sanchez; sisters Elvira Gonzalez, Paula Torres, Francis Clinch; and brother Refugio Sanchez.

Natalia leaves behind a legacy of love through her three sons:

Rene Rodriguez Jr. and wife Esther,

Robert Rodriguez and wife Janice,

Ruben Rodriguez and wife Esther.

Her pride and joy were her grandchildren: Trish Milam, Nicholas Rodriguez, Julianna Rodriguez, Jacob Rodriguez, Joshua Rodriguez, Carlos Martinez, and Lauren De La Garza.

She was also blessed with great-grandchildren Joseph Milam and Analece Milam, and great-great-grandchildren Castile Milam, Nicholas Milam, and Amelia Milam. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews who cherished her deeply.

Natalia lived a remarkable life filled with adventure and devotion. She traveled the world-visiting Mexico, Switzerland, Germany, France, Italy, and many cities across the United States. She and her husband, Rene Sr., shared a beautiful marriage rooted in faith, family, and joy. Together they loved dancing, bowling, walking on the beach, fishing, and taking camping trips with their sons.

As a proud and active military wife, Natalia dedicated countless hours to volunteering and even competed in NCO wives' pageants. She worked for many years as a seamstress for Levi Strauss and later as a nurse's aide, always approaching her work with skill and compassion.

A devoted Catholic, Natalia faithfully read her Bible and prayer booklets every day, nurturing a deep and enduring spiritual life.

Natalia found joy in Bingo, casino slots, and Mexican Lotería. She was also an enthusiastic sports fan, cheering passionately for her beloved Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs.

Natalia's life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love will live on in all who knew her.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm with the Rosary to be recited at 6:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 12:30 pm at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church followed by Funeral Procession to Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
