Natalie Ruth Baker, age 81, of Shreveport, Louisiana passed away on May 12, 2024. She was born on September 30, 1942, in Shreveport to John W. Jordan and Pearl M. Jordan.
A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service beginning at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2024, located at King's Temple United Pentecostal Church, 8951 Kingston Rd, Shreveport, LA 71118. Officiating the service will be Damon Magee and John Berry. Interment will be held at Mount Zion Cemetery in Hall Summit, Louisiana. Honoring Natalie as pallbearers will be Devan Jordan, Kameron Jordan, Paterick Martin, Jordan Blount, Zack Cook, Juan Sanchez, and Micheal Redding.
Natalie was married 61 years to the love of her life, Charles W. Baker, Sr. She enjoyed fishing, antiquing, cooking, going to auctions, traveling, and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Natalie will be most remembered as a woman that had strong faith in God.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Pearl Jordan; son, Wesley Baker; brother, Mac Jordan; sisters, Julie Armond and Pat Smith. Left to cherish her memory include her husband, Charles W. Baker, Sr.; son, Charles Baker and wife Paulette; daughter, Beverly Colemon and husband Kenney; along with numerous grandkids and great grandkids.
