Natalie Diane Daniels, 62, of Aberdeen, WA, passed away on Tuesday, January 21st, 2025, from pulmonary fibrosis. Natalie was born on June 3rd, 1962, to Nathan and Pamela Daniels at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Aberdeen. After graduating from Aberdeen High School in 1980, she worked in banking, before becoming a 911 dispatcher for Grays Harbor County for 18 years, and then an Investigations Records Specialist at the Aberdeen Police Department. During her time as a dispatcher, she received numerous awards for her excellence in dispatching critical incidents, as well as taking on special projects.
Outside of work, Natalie was a highly creative person, and enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, and ceramics. She donated bags of knitted hats to the hospital and was known for her hand quilted Christmas tree skirts. She was also a wonderful baker, and often treated her friends, family and coworkers with delicious treats.
Natalie is survived by her parents Nathan and Pam, her children Katie, Holly (Kyle), and Nathan, and her grandchildren Kalli, Karly, Kensi, Vivian, and Owen.
A celebration of Natalie’s life will be held at the Rotary Log Pavilion in Aberdeen, WA, on Saturday, February 8th at 1:00 PM. Her favorite colors were bright and cheerful, so naturally her request was not to wear black. Please take a moment to share your memories and condolences with the family at www.fernhillfuneral.com. Arrangements are entrusted to Twibell’s Fern Hill Funeral Home in Aberdeen, WA.
