It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of beloved wife and mother, Natalina Diaco, 79, on the morning of June 3, 2025, in Ossining, New York. Natalina is preceded in death by her husband, Francesco Diaco and sister Serafina. She is survived by her son, Franco Diaco and wife Michelle, as well as sisters Caterina, Teresa, Rosina and brothers Pasquale and Domenico.
Natalina was born February 2, 1946, in Longobucco, Italy, the second youngest of seven, to Saverio Pometti and Margherita Celestino. She moved from Italy to White Plains, NY in 1977, where she was a stay at home mom, raising her son and helping to watch her nephews. In 2010 she moved to Yorktown Heights, NY where she lived with her son and his wife until her passing. Natalina found joy in life's simplest pleasures. She loved to cook for her family, making many dishes such a lasagna and chicken parmesan, as well as her homemade marinara sauce and taralli. One of her favorite things to do in the warmer months was to take care of her garden, which is where you would always find her if the weather was nice. Natalina's love for her family was unparalleled, which she expressed through the time spent with them and the care she provided.
Natalina's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew her. Her memory will be treasured forever, as we hold her close in our hearts and remember the light she brought into this world
